Every great journey starts somewhere. For Dave, it started at 16, learning home repairs from his grandfather and the fathers of his friends.

What began in 1986 as curiosity and a willingness to learn grew into a lifelong passion for building, improving, and transforming spaces.

Dave started taking on repairs and renovations in 1991. By 1994, he had launched his first business in Nebraska, helping homeowners and Realtors prepare properties for their next chapter.

His journey eventually took him through Southern California and into Colorado, where he established D&D Remodeling and Repair in 2000. Over the years, he expanded his experience from residential remodeling to leading commercial renovation projects before returning to the work closest to his heart: improving people’s homes.

Great work isn’t just about skill. It’s about the people behind it.

That belief inspired The Build Squad, a company built around teamwork, quality craftsmanship, and genuinely caring about the homeowners they serve.

Because to Dave, remodeling isn’t simply about changing how a room looks. It’s about creating spaces where families gather, memories are made, and people feel proud to call home.

What started with a young man learning how to fix things has become a mission to help others build something better.

Today, Dave and The Build Squad proudly serve homeowners in Littleton and the surrounding Denver metro area.
