Frequently Asked Questions
Maybe you still have a few questions.
That’s okay, most people do. Here is a quick collection of some of the questions people ask us, along with our answers. If you still have a question, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime. We love getting to know our community and would be happy to answer it for you.
How long does a bid take?
Each bid differs depending on the scope of work required, but on average we recommend planning an hour to be home for a standard bid to take place.
Why don’t you list prices for your services?
We strive to make every Build Squad experience a custom one, and our pricing is no different. Once you fill out a service request, we will reach out to you and schedule a time to make a bid after visiting the space and discussing your vision. We cannot accurately estimate what the job will require until an in-person inspection has been done.
How do you determine the price?
Great question, and we’re an open book: Our process is very straightforward and transparent pricing is a core policy at The Build Squad. We look at the size of the proposed job, the current condition of the property, and the cost of supplies and manpower. As you know, home renovation can get pricey, but rest assured a Build Squad member will walk through each service recommended to you and why it’s necessary. We take many pieces of information into consideration and come up with a fair price that works for us and works for you too.
Does someone have to be home for the bid?
Yes, we do require at least one adult be present for the entirety of the bid. We do our best to accommodate busy schedules and be flexible with the time of the bid so that we impact your day as little as possible. This also give us a chance to get to know you and really learn about your dreams for the space.
Does filling out the form obligate me to anything?
While we do hope to be the right fit for your job, The Build Squad strongly believes in win-win situations. If you change your mind after reaching out, or we aren’t a good fit, there is absolutely no obligation to continue the process. By filling out the form, all that happens is a conversation starting.
